Phantom Dust was one of the best projects I’ve had the opportunity to work on; it is based off of the Xbox original launched in 2004 by Microsoft Game Studios Japan. The blending of third person action paradigm with collectible card game core connected a competitive multiplayer feature set, is just about the craziest awesome game ever.
I was responsible for being the go to person on the project about game systems and balance. My knowledge of the original game’s operation served as the jumping off point for the team to start re-working and designing the Xbox One Phantom Dust. I contributed to the games ideation, authorship, approval, and prototyping. I touched the initial concepting of nearly all game systems and helped shape the flow of what will be the next Phantom Dust experience.
