*Batteries Not Included

This is animation/model served as my final project for my 3D Animation & Modelling class that I took 2nd year of school. The original idea was to have a hand cranked robot: be wound up, start moving towards a battery, only to lose power and stutter and fall inches from the power source. Some oversights while I was creating the model made it impossible for me to implement the hand crank idea, so I went with the original plan; minus the hand crank.

Below is a little gallery of screenshots from within the Maya project file.

Also of some render shots i put together to show everything textured/skinned.

Below is the final video as I turned it in.

The name of the animation was taken from an old movie I loved as a child, look it up, watch it. Its a classic.
